I was finally able to make sometime to continue to work on this project. I am pretty much done texturing, or at least i tend to think so. And now i have been working on some composites to see it all come together. Here are the first 3 that i made.

Nothing short of beautiful

We got to vegas at around 9am, i got an hour of sleep, but i was so excited to be in vegas, and the fact that it was for a rollerblading event made it even better.

We got to the hotel, and since our room would not be ready till Chris Bjerre got into town, we went and hung out in Jon’s room, for the day.  We woke everyone up, went to breakfast, and then went to check out Anthem Park, where the finals would be held.  After some unesscary drama, we left anthem and went to skate another park, which at first didnt seem like anything too special, but we sessioned the shit out of it for about 3hrs i would say, the park was kinda cool, it was pretty much a big bowl with quarters that were about 4ft high and about 25ft long, with 2 small boxes in the middle, good times.

Its not too often that i get to see Mike and Tory, but every time i do, we pick up right were we left off.  Good times with good friends, at a good park. Life doesnt get much better than this.

After the sesh, we headed to diner and then back to the hotel room, Mike and I, were showing Tory, Nicole and Jeff, the wonders of Bump, and app for the Iphone, thats when this picture was taken so i can bump it to Nicole, and show her how it works.

We then proceeded to hit up the strip, got a lot of beers and walked around aimlessly for the night.

The next day, we lagged for a long time, got breakfast and headed over to anthem park for the WRS Finals.  The Santee guys had built acouple of boxes to change up the park for a bit.  Overall it was a fun park, and an amazing sesh, it was so good to see all sorts of rollerbladers together, the competion was intense, tons of great skating, flawless lines, big tricks, all sorts of things that make me proud to be a rollerblader.  I am so glad that i was fortunate enough to be at attendence for this competition.

Being that the comp was on the day of halloween, Thomas had to rep with his little hot dog costume.

The girls, were kinda bored, so they decided to go get beer, 3 18 packs of coors original.  After it was announced that we shouldnt be drinking at the park, they went and hid the beer in the camera bag and in Janette’s purse.  Drinking and skating dont mix too well for me, i was about 6 beers deep when i decided that it would be a good idea to do some shit, and it really didnt work out, all i did was fall, and fall, and fall.

After the competion, diner, and the hotel, we headed to the after party which was inside Planet Hollywood at Heart Bar.  Most of the people that attended the comp, where at the bar. Like most rollerblade events, or pretty much anything involving rollerblading, there’s plenty of drinking to be had afterwards, at first i was kinda bummed at how expensive the drinks were, after days of hitting up $2 beer spots, paying $11 per drink really wasnt my thing, that was until we found another bar about 75ft away from heart bar, that had the $4 beers, so that was the provider of my alcohol for the night.

Rollerbladers take over Vegas, i loved this, any sort of large congregation of rollerbladers is always a good thing in my eyes.

After hours and hours of $4 beers, our night was coming to an end, as we walked by this horse, Tory said that it would be cool if someone would get on that horse, so my drunk ass volunteered and with Tory’s help, i got on top of the horse.  Then, i didnt know how to get down, Tory did his best to assist me as i tried to slide down the horse, but i just pretty much elbow dropped the lamp and broke it on my way down.

Next morning, we lagged even more, everyone was way hung over from the night before, we got a late breakfast and then began our 9 hour drive back to the bay.  All and all, this was definitely an amazing weekend.  Can’t wait for next years WRS Finals
